Welcome! | Start Screen Layout
You found my blog! Welcome. With this being my first post in over a year, I'm taking a new direction on the content I'll be posting. While I'll keep you abreast of my research and related work, I intend to share content from the interwebs, both related and of interest to me and hopefully you too. You can expect shared content from YouTube, The Verge, Gizmodo, NASA, IGN, Disney.... the sources are neverending. I also plan on sharing personal activities and design ideas I have swirling around in my head.
So lets get to the post at hand. If you haven't guessed by now, I'm a Windows Phone user. I absolutley love the live tiles; most likely reason I've stuck with Windows Phone these past few years. Every couple months or so, I change my start screen layout. It often reflects what's most important in my life or things I just need quick access to. However meaningful, I find this to be a unique window into my life. As I've been lifting more frequently, I find myself wanting quicker access to some of my favorite artists, Two Steps from Hell and Logic. News and recent videos from my subscribtions are always at hand. With CES 2016 making all the headlines this week, having Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook near the top are required. Seems a bit overwhelming at first, but the interface is much appreciated and the Lumia 1520's 6-inch display is a joy to use albeit a little large for my average sized hands.
You've made it this far, awesome! Keep on the lookout for new posts in the coming weeks; the start of the semster is always an interesting time.
