Accepted! | IEEE Virtual Reality 2016
Hello faithful followers. I have great news! My free-hand gesture work (i.e. FLUIDITY) was accepted to the IEEE VR 2016 conference (http://ieeevr.org/2016/). I'll be presenting a poster alongside a poster abstract this March in Greenville, South Carolina. This will be my first conference attedence in the field of AR and VR. It'll be exciting to get a global perspective of the work other students have been active in pursing.
First week of classes have officially passed. I'll be taking Cognitive Task and Work Analysis, Human Factors Engineering in Forensics and Litigation, and Macroergonomics. I'm planning to conduct an experiment or two as well. May lose a bit more hair this semester than I previously thought I would.
For those new to the portfolio and blog, please feel free to check out my work. Look forward to more posts soon. I also occasionally stream on twitch. Feel free to follow me @ http://www.twitch.tv/macewind1.
The force will be with you... always...
